Bill Atwood is a veteran lobsterman. His pound sits at the head of Spruce Head harbor and the lobster boats line up daily to sell him their catch. Atwood’s facilities can hold hundreds of thousands of pounds of lobster at any time and he turns them over very quickly. The pound is impressive both in scale and cleanliness – this is a state of the art facility and the lobsters are very well kept for the brief time they are there. Bill also has a summer food shack that sells the best lobster rolls you’ll find – simple and delicious. Atwood doesn’t take small retail orders but does supply lobsters for larger event/parties. He also can instruct you on how to hold a clambake fundraiser. Bill Atwood is one of our favorite lobstermen and certainly at the very top of the list of top quality big pound owners.
